He presents a lot of good information on the Revolutionary war, the Civil war and WW2. Although we were all taught in school that these were "good" wars and necessary wars, I don't think that is true anymore. Years ago, I moved to Canada - and they are quite free of Britain without having a war to get free. The US Civil war was brutal, and the only good outcome was the end of slavery in the US. That is not why it started, and certainly other countries ended slavery without a war.
