"For Everyman" by Jackson Browne

I used to listen to this song on my lunch break in 2005.  I was wondering if and when the American people would wake up to the horror they caused in Iraq, and when the housing bubble would collapse.  Today, with the Occupy Wall Street movements, it does look like the American people have woken up to the housing collapse and the economic problems we face.  They are also more aware of how much the wars, occupations, overseas military bases are costing the USA in economic terms.  They have not, as far as I can tell, woken up to the horrors they have caused - and are still causing - around the globe.
