From a Facebook post: "OCCUPY was and is nothing more or less than what YOU made/make of it. It is as alive or dead as you want it to be. It couldn't solve all our problems - that's God you're thinking of, and if you don't believe... then so much for the magic bullet. I've heard SOOO many people who did nothing but talk smack from the comfort of their undisturbed trip... But to participate; to make a difference, that took energy and effort. With problems as complex as ours, who really thought one, giant set of marches would fix everything? Do you get corn the moment you plant the seed? No. It takes time and work. Occupy's success or failures are the same as our own. That chapter is over - regardless of how you judge it. What happens next is up to you. And me..."
