This is sorta long, but it is full of fascinating information about the history of western North Carolina, with a focus on African-Americans. They talk about the men who built the Cullowhee railroad tunnel, who were prisoners (a form of Jim Crow slavery) and how they died. It reminded me of the Swannanoa tunnel, which was also built by prisoners who were black - and who also died in the process. I recommend this video/talk, I felt it was very good.
