I just read a post by Kim Coram called SHAME IN SILENCE. A QUOTE FROM PRESIDENT OBAMA’S BOOK AND A MESSAGE FOR ALL OF US. DREAMS…DREAMERS. It is on the Be Right There website.
Here is what she left out of her article: Obama deported more undocumented people than any other president. It was upwards of 2 1/2 million people. HRC was right on board with this violent policy when she was Sec of State and afterwards. And if silence means violence, then the majority of Obama and HRC supporters must be very violent. They were and are totally silent about the atrocities that Obama and HRC committed to this day. They pretend those atrocities don't even exist.
“We have to send a clear message that just because your child gets across the border, that doesn’t mean your child gets to stay.” Hillary Rodham Clinton -- 2014.
Those children Obama sent back were not Dreamers- they had just arrived inside the USA, sent there by their parents who wanted to save their children's lives. And Obama put some of them on planes and sent them back home, and some of these children were killed when they got back to their home country. And (with very few exceptions) all I heard was silence.
To leave this out - while quoting Obama - is total hypocrisy. There is shame in silence, and it is violent. And there is even more shame in hypocrisy, and that is even more violent.
