Yes, we are all torturers now. The US Senate passed the Military Commissions Act of 2006, which means torture incdents like the one in this picture is now legal, and is retroactively legal also. No more nonsense about a 'few bad apples' anymore.This weekend, I will call every Democratic Senator who voted for this bill and let them know what I think of their contribution to violating our Constitution. And I will call every Democratic Senator who voted against this and thank them. And Senator Chaffee also, the only Republican Senator who has any sense.
This is a shameful time to be an American.
