ACTIONS AND READINGS
*******************************************

This was in an email from Roots Action:

I signed the petition demanding that Washington follow the law and create a bold jobs program now. The rising numbers of the poor and unemployed demand an immediate solution. Will you join me?
http://bit.ly/o4jmT9

If we do not get unemployment down among our young adults, and start providing adequate health care for our children, we will not have much of a future.  Without good jobs and hope for a good future, we will see riots in our cities like they had in the UK.  The USA is #1 in infant mortality among developed countries.  This is shameful, and we have to stop throwing our children, and our future, under the bus.
