McPherson Square in DC on 3-31-12. I was walking to the NOW DC event and went past this encampment. They are not allowed to sleep in their tents either. On this day, they were holding a family friendly circus. The food tent was less messy, but it smelled like urine to me. Not appealing.
In this photo, you can see where tents used to be, and how it killed the grass. It is easy to see the footprint of the former tents.
I thought these little tiny tents were very cute! They were still setting up for the family circus event, but had not started yet when I walked by their camp.
