Support the Kings Bay Plowshares

Support the Kings Bay Plowshares

As we reported in our last email, seven Catholic disarmament activists entered the Kings Bay nuclear submarine base in St. Mary's, Georgia, on the night of April 4 in a Plowshares action protesting nuclear weapons.  They have been denied bond and are being held at the Camden County Detention Facility in Woodbine, Georgia.  Federal charges are expected in the coming weeks.

You may support the Kings Bay Plowshares activists in the following ways:

1.  Write postcards - They can receive and send only plain white postcards from the post office with the printed stamp, not a stamp pasted on. The address is: Camden County Detention Facility, P.O. Box 699, Woodbine, GA 31569.   Use their prisoner number after their name:
Carmen Trotta 65203
Clare Grady 65197
Patrick O’Neill 65205
Elizabeth McAlister 65198
Stephen Kelly 65201
Martha Hennessy 65206
Mark Colville 65200

2.  Provide financial support for commissary, travel and legal support expenses with a donation made out to Catholic Worker, (Memo line: Kings Bay Plowshares), and mailed to Catholic Worker, PO Box 3087, Washington, DC 20010.  Online donations may be made via  GoFundMe.
