The list of people in the “useful idiots” club would never publish another word under their own names if they had even a shred of decency or morality in their bodies.
But they don’t. This unfortunately means, we still have them running around gushing their idiocy and total lack of morals everywhere you turn.
And the people at the NYT who covered the WMDs of Iraq story in 2002 and 2003 do (especially Judith Miller) not deserve to call themselves “journalists”. They are, and will forever be, FAILURES UNABLE TO DO THE JOB OF JOURNALISM.
The NYT follow up coverage of what happened after the war of aggression on Iraq also was a total failure. Across the US corporate media (with the exception of McClatchy’s) were all FAILURES UNABLE TO DO THE JOB OF JOURNALISM.
And that is why today most Americans do not recognize the fact that the US sanctions and invasion of Iraq has resulted in FAR MORE IRAQI DEATHS THAN THE NUMBER CAUSED BY SADDAM.
And those deaths will go on well into the future, beyond the lifetime of ALL the grandchildren of EVERYONE READING THESE WORDS.
Today, Iraqi babies are dying in huge numbers from birth defects and cancers. One in four babies born in Fallujah are dead by age one week. These facts, along with the horrible reality of the refugees from Iraq and the people who are still living there, are also ignored by the NYT and the US corporate media because they are FAILURES UNABLE TO DO THE JOB OF JOURNALISM.
For the record, Mr. Keller, back in 2002 I had a six year old notebook computer and a dial up AOL connection. And I was able to figure out that Iraq did not have nuclear WMDs, and any possible biological or chemical WMDs (which were very unlikely) could not hurt Americans unless we went into Iraq. Saddam had no delivery system.
I was one of MILLIONS WHO FIGURED THIS OUT.
So the real question you should ask yourself is: why are you so much dumber than a pediatric audiologist in the south? And why is the NYT so much more incompetent than McClatchy’s (formerly Knight-Ridder).
Really, why are you so fricking dumb and the NYT so incompetent? Don’t give us that crap about “consensus” when you refused to even listen to people who had a different opinion than you. You also clearly refused to read McClatchy’s. I recommend you start reading them daily and shut the NYT down.
“Should we — those of us without security clearances — have known it in 2003?”
YES YOU CERTAINLY SHOULD HAVE.
“And maybe a little too pleased with ourselves for standing up to evil and defying the caricature of liberals as, to borrow a phrase from those days, brie-eating surrender monkeys.”
WHAT YOU DON’T SEEM TO UNDERSTAND IS THAT YOU ARE EVIL.
MASSIVELY EVIL.
“I could not foresee that we would mishandle the war so badly,”
AND THAT IS BECAUSE MASSIVELY EVIL PEOPLE ARE BLIND.
THEY ARE SOCIOPATHS.
The remedy for the bad journalism of the NYT is to shut it down now. I do not see you and the other incompetents at the NYT as having innocent blood on your hands, I see you as SWIMMING IN INNOCENT BLOOD. You are hideously immoral in my eyes, and I would rejoice if you were to go to prison and never get out.
And do not make the claim that you reported on what was happening in Iraq after the US war of aggression and invasion… YOU FAILED AT THAT TOO.
And you, the president, the American public, the US corporate press, have not been more careful about your new war of aggression on Libya. The politicians and the US corporate press don’t give a rat’s ass about who you kill in Libya, and the American public are too uninformed to know what they are supporting, thanks to incompetent evil people like yourself.
I hope all the dead Iraqis come and visit you in your dreams every night for the rest of your life.
You seriously make me sick. You should be ashamed to come out of your house, much less put your name in print.

My comment to the NYT article
On September 7, 2011, Mr. Bill Keller of the NYT wrote an article about the war of aggression on Iraq and why he and the NYT promoted that war of aggression. I will not like to the garbage, but I did feel moved to write a comment on the article. I posted the comment and emailed a copy to Mr. Keller and Mr. Veis. Here it is:
