Well, the guy handling the LTE in the Asheville Citizen Times decided not to cite the references to support the letter that got published. No surprises there.

And, he claimed that he thought the letter that was published was ‘rubbish’ but the editors wanted to publish it – and even claimed that he had my letter up there, but the editors pulled it.

Don’t you just love how nearly EVERYONE in this country evades responsibility for their actions? It is always SOMEONE ELSE’S FAULT. Lately, a large number of Americans want to blame everything on bush – as if that dumb cookie could ever achieve anything by himself.

I do believe that the letter writer of the nationalistic garbage should have his letter published. But mine should be published too. My letter addressed the truth of the situation here in the USA, and the impact of US policy from the bush administration on the US and the world.

But the corporate owners of the corporate media don't want to hear that - it might cut into their profits if they say something unpopular.
