Financially the manufacturers are profiting. What I gain from the 2nd Amendment is the right to own firearms. I send a Mini-14 for a while and was so impressed by how quickly I could send $100 down range I sold it to a gun shop.
The right to own one means a lot to me. Actually owning one isn't that important.
