TAKE ACTION:
Something President Obama wrote during a public Q&A this past week is major news:
“...I think we need to seriously consider mobilizing a constitutional amendment process to overturn Citizens United...”
The President of the United States has joined Public Citizen and activists like you in recognizing the necessity of a constitutional amendment to prevent a hostile corporate takeover of our democracy. Let’s make the most of this noment so that we don’t see our democracy sold off to giant corporations and business tycoons. Please take a few minutes RIGHT NOW to urge your friends, family, neighbors and colleagues to join you in signing the petition at DemocracyIsForPeople.org for a constitutional amendment to overturn Citizens United. Thank you. Sincerely, Robert Weissman, President, Public Citizen
