Congress needs to determine the rest of the war

Letter to Congress:

I think the war in Iraq has long been lost, and I see no sign that our presence in that country is helpful to the Iraqi people. I think all funds for war in Iraq should be cut and our troops brought home immediately.

The president’s plan to bring freedom (of the grave) and democracy (of death) to the Iraqi people has to stop right now. To claim that the presence of US troops there will improve the situation defies history, logic, common sense and the trajectory of the last four years.

Bring this illegal and immoral war to an end NOW. - dancewater
