Resistance can take many forms. Even getting informed is an act of resistance. Showing up for events, making phone calls or writing to your elected officials are also acts of resistance. Being public about what is wrong is always an act of resistance. Just be sure you are consistent - if you oppose war when a Republican is doing it, then oppose it when a Democrat is doing it too. Otherwise, you will just be a hypocrite.
