In Memory of Andy Summers

Dear Colleagues and Supporters of Peace and Justice,

As you most probably know, our dear friend, colleague, and promoter of peace, Andy Summers recently passed away.

We are planning to initiate an Andy Summers Memorial Lecture Series to begin in the Fall. We hope to honor Andy's memory by bring speakers on peace and justice issues to our campus for students and the general public. The WWC Advancement Office has established an Andy Summers Memorial account to receive donations for this purpose. We ask all of you to become charter members of this effort by making a contribution, big or small, to the Andy Summers Memorial Account. Please send your checks to the Warren Wilson College Development Office, CPO 6376, Asheville, NC 28815-9000. Checks should be made out to Warren Wilson College, with an "Andy Summers Memorial" notation in the lower left.
I have included a photo of Andy with this message. He is doing what he was famous for: supporting the weak and opposing injustice.
