bush approves of torture

Bush is vetoing the new law against CIA using torture.

And never mind that it does not work, or that Powell used the results of torture in his UN speech in February 2003 and it turned out to be a pack of lies.

Well, I guess it is wrong to say “torture does not work”. It certainly does not get good information that will save innocent lives, no doubt about that. However, it does terrify people and keep a population under control. Has anyone noticed how we are moving into a lawless police state? The state has all the power, and since there is no regard for the law, that means the police and other authorities can do what they want – arrest people for stupid stuff, beat them up, tazer them. It is happening more and more.

And torture is an important component of that lawless police state – or to control a foreign population. So, in this light, torture does work for the immoral ones who would use it. And who they will use it on – well, could be anybody.

And remember bush saying “we do not torture” – well, he lied again! I know no one is surprised by that.

Remember that "Mission Accomplished" play on the ship with bush? Where he said that Saddam's torture rooms and rape rooms were closed? So, how is anyone better off now that the torture and rape rooms have been reopened under US leadership? At least under Saddam, the US taxpayers didn't have to pay for the torture!

Such evil, wicked people we have here in the USA who elected such an evil, wicked man!
