Rachel was in Gaza
on March 16, 2003, trying to prevent the Israeli demolition of a Palestinian
home. She was crushed to death by an Israeli bulldozer. Today marks the tenth
anniversary of her death.
She is a heroine of mine.
She stood up for what was right, and laid down her life for
her friends in Palestine.
No greater love exists on this planet than to lay down your life for the well being of your friends.
May she rest in peace.
